About Us
Sherwood Clinic is more than just a healthcare provider; it’s a family-centered practice dedicated to your well-being in every sense. Our clinic was founded on the belief that true health requires a holistic approach, one that seamlessly integrates both medical and dental care under one roof. We recognize that the prospect of dealing with health issues can be daunting, often accompanied by feelings of fear and uncertainty. That’s why we are committed to creating a comforting environment where you can trust that your care is coordinated and comprehensive.
At Sherwood Clinic, your health is not segmented into separate parts. Instead, our team of doctors and dentists work collaboratively to ensure that every aspect of your health is addressed with the same level of care and attention. By treating you as a whole person, we aim to not only improve your physical health but also to provide peace of mind, knowing that all your needs are being met in a cohesive and supportive setting. We believe in building long-term relationships with our patients, based on trust, empathy, and a shared commitment to wellness. Your health journey is our priority, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Dr Ayesha Ramjan
Medical Doctor
Dr. Ayesha grew up in King William’s Town, Eastern Cape, where she was close friends with Dr. SA Limbada, your friendly dentist next door. Inspired by her father, a GP in rural Eastern Cape, she often accompanied him to his practice, which fueled her passion for patient care.
Dr. Ayesha initially studied Biochemistry at the University of Pretoria and excelled in her field. However, missing direct patient interaction, she declined a Malaria research grant and joined WITS’s GEMP medical program, graduating as a doctor in 2019.
During her internship and community service in Johannesburg, she worked in Covid wards and various clinics, solidifying her commitment to helping others. Relocating to Cape Town in 2023, she now works as a GP in private practice, rekindling her passion for patient care.
Dr. Ayesha values personalized treatment for each patient and believes in utilizing all available tools to improve overall health. “Opening a practice with Dr. SA Limbada has been a long-time dream, and I am excited to see Sherwood come to life, hoping others will appreciate it as much as we do”.

Dr Shakirah Limbada
Dentist
Dr. Limbada grew up in a small town in the Eastern Cape alongside her four siblings. Her childhood fear of the dentist actually inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry, with a focus on patient comfort and education. She earned her undergraduate dental degree at the University of the Witwatersrand and later pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Oral Surgery from the University of Pretoria.
Following Community Service in Bloemfontein, Dr. Limbada has worked in private practice all around Gauteng, honing her skills. In December 2023, she moved to Cape Town to collaborate with a respected mentor and quickly fell in love with the Mother City, now calling it her home.
Dr. Limbada is passionate about Oral Surgery and Implantology, holding a diploma from the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and multiple certificates from The Implant & Aesthetic Academy (IAA). She collaborates closely with her referral surgeons, frequently assisting in surgeries, to expand her expertise whilst ensuring seamless, well-coordinated care for her patients.
”Although dentistry is ever-evolving, I’m confident in providing you with the most current and honest care. I look forward to building a relationship with you as we navigate your dental journey together”.

Sarah Language
Physiotherapist
Sarah was born and grew up in Cape Town. She is married to Herman, and they have two children, Leah and James. They recently moved back to Cape Town after living in Nelspruit for the past nine years. The vibrant city of Nelspruit borders the Kruger Park, and one of their family highlights was frequently visiting the park.
Her passion for caring for people and playing sports led her to study physiotherapy, and she graduated from UCT in 2009. After completing her community service year in rural KZN, she returned to Cape Town and worked in a dynamic sports physiotherapy practice. Her passion for working with sportsmen and sportswomen and her desire to further her knowledge inspired her to pursue a master’s degree in exercise and sports physiotherapy, which she completed in 2018.
Sarah believes that properly understanding your pain and injury is essential to providing the best treatment and rehabilitation. She strives to use up-to-date, research-based techniques tailored to your individual needs.
“My goal is to help you maintain a physically fit and active life, free of pain and injuries. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals.”
